An undermount sink is a fit check before it is a deal
A kitchen sink can look like a simple product purchase, but the worktop and installation decide whether it belongs in your kitchen. Check those first.

The current candidate
Appliance City lists the Franke Largo single-bowl undermount sink 122.0250.208 at £339.00 including VAT. The retailer describes a stainless-steel sink with a SilkSteel finish and gives dimensions of 530 x 440 mm. Those are the overall listed measurements, not permission to cut a hole to those numbers. Use the manufacturer's installation template and instructions for the exact model.
Start with the worktop
Before ordering, ask your installer whether this mounting method is suitable for your worktop, its thickness and the available support. An attractive sink cannot settle those questions from a product photograph. If you are replacing an existing sink, measure the cabinet, the existing opening and the position of plumbing, then have the installer check compatibility. Do not assume a similar bowl shape means a drop-in replacement.
Budget for the whole job
Compare the sink price with the installed total: fittings, any worktop changes, plumbing and labour. Establish exactly what comes in the box and what needs buying separately. Check tap location, waste arrangement and access underneath. If the installer finds a conflict before the purchase, that is useful information; after cutting the worktop, it is expensive cleanup.
Choose the layout you use
A single bowl is one listed layout, not a universal improvement. Think about your largest pan or tray and how you wash, rinse and drain items. Compare internal bowl dimensions and any accessories you need. We have not verified those internal measurements here, so we are not promising a particular pan will fit. A showroom visit or precise measurement can answer more than the finish name.
Our buying view
Keep this Franke model on the shortlist if its exact installation requirements work for your kitchen. Do not order it on price alone and leave the mounting question to delivery day. We have not installed or long-term tested it; our advice is to settle the fit, included parts and full labour cost before turning a product price into a project commitment.
